Enea Droz, who died in 1999 at the age of 51, was a great hockey fan, in particular of youth hockey.
Always with great enthusiasm and passion, he continually followed his kids in their growth among the youth teams of GDT Bellinzona, which at the time, was in the open Turrita ice rink
In addition he was a very reliable and valuable helper to the club and afterwards served as a committee member in the early 90s.

Fernando “Ferdy” Mozzini, who passed away in 2022 at the age of 77, was a key figure for the GDT Bellinzona, the club to which he dedicated himself for over 30 years after a career as a football player. Throughout his long career, Ferdy held various roles, standing out especially as sports director, a position that made him unforgettable to players and ice hockey fans.

In their memory, the GDT organize an annual international tournament: the Memorial Enea and Ferdy.
